Rawls Law Group is pleased to announce that Harrison W. “Whit” Long has joined the firm at our headquarters in Richmond, Virginia. Whit earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamden-Sydney College in 2012 and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2017. He was then admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2017.
During his studies, he was a recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence in Virginia Procedure and competed in the Carrico Moot Court Competition. He also dedicated his time to mentoring elementary school students.
“We are pleased to have Whit join the team,” said Brewster Rawls, Founder and President of the firm. “I have known Whit a long time. He worked here as a paralegal before he went to law school and he worked with us some while he was in law school. Whit is an exceptionally bright and motivated young lawyer. We are thrilled he has joined us.”
